ASUKA CRUISE

Asuka Cruise (郵船クルーズ株式会社) is a division of the Japanese shipping company NYK Line (Nippon Yusen Kaisha, 日本郵船), and is the sister line of the famous Crystal Cruises. It is a successful company in Asia. which currently owns Asuka II (飛鳥II), nicknamed "the Jewel of the Orient". Asuka II is the largest cruise ship homeported in Japan.

Like her close sister Crystal Symphony in Crystal Cruises, Asuka II also has a high passenger space ratio and a good crew to passenger ratio. It offers cruises designed for elderly Japanese-speaking couples, but also has some family cruises especially during school holidays. The personalized service, the comfortable accomodation and the high-quality cuisine enable Asuka II to be one of the most luxurious ship in the Asia-Pacific region.

Asuka II sails on World Cruise (世界一周クルーズ) in April every year, which lasts for around three months. She also has longer voyages, such as South Pacific Grand Cruise (南太平洋グランドクルーズ) and Asia Grand Cruise (アジアグランドクルーズ) in winter. A wide variety of local short cruises are provided, including the well-known Japan Circumnavigation Cruise (日本一周クルーズ) and the "A-style" cruise. These cruises often depart in Yokohama, Kobe or Nagoya.
