Entered Service 1998 April 12th

The 26594-ton Pacific Venus (ぱしふぃっく びいなす) is the second largest cruise ship registered in Japan. Built in 1998 by Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries, she is the second ship for the Osaka-based Venus Cruise.

Named as the "Paradise on the Ocean" in marketing materials, Pacific Venus is a small but well-designed ship. The high passenger space ratio provides a comfortable and serene environment onboard. Intimate service, nicely-decorated facilities and attractively-presented cuisine make Pacific Venus to be one of the most luxurious ships in the Asia-Pacific region.

The dress code is moderately casual, and the clean and fresh interiors of the ship give a feeling of warmth. She is more suitable to Japanese elderly passengers, though family-friendly cruises are often operated.

Pacific Venus usually sails on World Cruise in April, which lasts for around three months. In winter she also has longer voyages such as South Pacific Grand Cruise and Asia Grand Cruise. On the other hand, a wide variety of local short cruises are provided, including the famous Japan Circumnavigation Cruise. Her major homeports are Yokohama and Kobe.
